You viewers come here to see faces in cake - that's what this site is supposed to be all about (hence the name), right? Well, we've been a little busy and haven't been able to get all of our recorded plows up.

But today, it's time to change all of that. A new cakeplow record is about to be broken. No, we're not going to have ten faces diving into cake, we're not going to have a full body cakeplow, and we're not going to pioneer cakeplow in space (though they are all very good ideas - stay tuned). Instead, we're posting up the videos at the speed of cake - face to cake to Web within an hour.



This month, as Paul was out on vacation, lead plowing duties fell to our second in command - Doug! And as there were no anniversaries, we shifted down to birthdays. Josh Riggs was (conveniently) the only one present. However, he did make up for the slack by sporting a new hairdo - stop reading and watch the video already!

While we're at it, here's last month's plow as well. It was a heck of a battle as Paul was attacked from both sides! Has cakeplow ever seen this level of brutality?!

With the release of one of the most anticipated games of the year many people have been diagnosed with Halo-itis. A rare disease that causes people to call in sick on the day of major video game/console releases. These diseases are known to strike major universities and certain businesses.

I know a certain designer here has certainly got a bad case of halo-itis here today. Are you and your employees safe? You may want to keep an eye out for people with the following symptoms:

* Exhaustion
* Constant references of Master Chief
* Sore thumbs
* Hand cramps
* Bags under their eyes

Jaws, our Tokay Gecko, was left to us by a friend when they had to move. We weren't sure about him at first. He was pretty, but we heard that he wasn't the nicest lizard out there - he'd been known to attack! However, he's since became a member the family. Click on Jaws below to see more pics!


He seemed a little cramped in his previous enclosure, as he'd circle the cage restlessly, so we decided it was time to take it to the next level. We also wanted some desk space back too!


We scoured the Web for information on building our own cage and decided to integrate it into our bookshelf. It meant that a few of our cars and toys had to be put into boxes, but in the end, it was worth it!

After several trips to Home Depot, and countless rounds of trial and error, we were able to make it work. Jaws now enjoys his two story condo, complete with artificial heat and a wonderful view of our office!

I love the "surprise reward for volunteering." Its a great motivator to know that at any time there may be fabulous prizes awaiting you around the next corner, all you have to do is step up.

I say all this as a "Thank you" to Tara, who passed out lottery tickets to everyone who gave a shout out in this AM's company meeting. No only did I get to pass on praise to members of the MC team, but I left the meeting $5 richer!!!

Hip Hip Hooray!!!! Crazy Hat Day makes a come back! Lately, we have neglected this festive day we celebrate but once a month, but no worries, it's back! It only seems appropriate since Fashion Week has just begun. As you read on, I will provide commentary about each model and their hat of choice. Enjoy, as you have VIP seats to this extraordinary event.

In the above picture, strutting their stuff on the catwalk, I present to you our most gorgeous and handsome models. From left to right, Stuart's keepin' it real in his FSU sports cap. It's obvious this accessory comes in handy at football games and beer pong competitions. Go Gators! Next, we have Kelly striking a pose. I think her inspiration comes from watching too many Flavor Flav episodes. No worries, we still love the Viking Hat! It never seems to go out of style. To dress up this hat just add a huge clock and hang it around your neck. To the right of Kelly is the lovely Jen. She is rockin' it in her engine truck red fire fighter hat! Wouldn't you want this hott thang to put out your fire? I would! To compliment this hat just throw on some black patent leather ankle boots and a wrist full of gold bangles. Directly behind Jen is the King of the show, Andrew in his crushed blue velvet crown. All he needs is a sleek Oscar de la Renta suit and he'll be ready to take over the world. Last, but not least is our very own MindComet cowgirl straight from Texas, the charming Valerie. This lightweight, authentic straw cowgirl hat is great for a typical day on the farm. Pigtails are still a stylish hair do and will fit great under that hat!

I've been living in Florida for 7+ years now and I'm still not used to the large volume of lizards I come across on a daily basis. I walk into my backyard and see at least 5 run for cover, I had a baby lizard no longer than my pinky finger in my kitchen this morning and this afternoon I encountered my first ever 'stunt lizard.'

I was driving home for lunch - on the I-4 on ramp - and out of nowhere a lizard jumped onto my driver side window. It proceeded to crawl up to the front window, where it stayed there clinging for dear life while my car, Betty, accelerated to 65 mph. The lizard started to fly off to the side of the car and it's tail was flapping like crazy in the wind; however, the lizard was smarter than I thought and reached out to grab it's tail. While holding it's tail with one hand we eventually slowed down and it was able to jump for safety.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday and got a huge surprise at 4:00. I was sitting in my office with Kelly planning an email campaign, when I saw my boyfriend come around the corner holding..... our new puppy!

She is a two-month old mini-schnauzer and she is sooo cute - see some of the first picture below. Yesterday we took some time to socialize with my co-workers, but she mostly just wanted to hang out and stay close to me.

She did a great job sleeping last night and this morning she started exploring & following me around the house. We're going to spend lots of time this weekend getting to know each other and we'll probably sign up for puppy training classes, too.

On my way home last week, I decided to make a quick stop off of the highway. My car also made a decision - that it wasn't going to go into gear anymore.

However, I was able to finagle it into third and drive all the way home in that gear, even on the interstate. I couldn't bring it to a full stop, or that would have been the end of my journey.

Over the next couple of days, with my trusty manual in hand, I was able to drop the transmission, not only all by myself, but on myself as well - that's the only way to get it out without fancy and expensive equipment. And who would have known that the thing weighed over 80 lbs!



Upon further investigation, I found that the clutch had decided to fall apart - but such are the hazards of putting double the original power through a car's drive train.



Now it's time to UPGRADE!
